Data Traffic law in Argentina

The Argentina Government has suspended the application of the data retention law and it regulation.

I was interviewed last week about the controversy surrounding the data trafic law (law 25.873) in Argentina. There is a strong pressure from ISP and public opinion against the measure of the government to collect data for ten years.

Confirman que hackearon la pagina de Presidencia: "La pagina en Internet de Presidencia de la Nacion Argentina fue hackeada el domingo, segun informaron fuentes gubernamentales.

Se hizo una denuncia penal pero ya existen antecedentes sobre la falta de tipificación de esta clase de hechos... Es al Congreso al que le tocaría actuar en la materia...
